Alexis Mourtzanos is a filmmaker and visual artist from Athens, Greece. He is currently based in Los Angeles, pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Film Directing at UCLA. He studied Film Directing at Stavrakos Film School and Chemical Engineering at NTUA. 

His filmmaking style blends elements of surrealism, music and dance, science, and poetry. His interests extend into visual and mixed media art, exploring interactive video installation, expanded cinema, and AI.  Among his projects, his debut fiction short film Dramaquin 500mg was an official selection of the 2023 LA Shorts International Film Festival. His short film Dance Goodbye – Nuclear Radio has screened at festivals across Greece and the United States.
